The Art of Brea: History through Visual Expression An Orange County Community will run from July 7 through October 30, 2014 and is located on the second floor of Pollak Library in the East Terrace.
About the Curator
The Brea Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation of the rich history of Brea and its region. Through the Brea Museum and Heritage Center, the Society provides a place for education, investigation, research, and community gatherings. The Society encourages students, citizens, and visitors alike to explore our many histories, our roots, and to uncover the events, people, and stories that have shaped Brea in the past and continue to shape it into the future.
About the Exhibit
This exhibition, curated by the Brea Museum and Heritage Center, displays the visual creativity used to communicate personal and public interpretations of the past, present, and future of Brea, Fullerton's neighbor to the north. It is the goal of this exhibition to help visitors think through a new, imaginative lens about the relationship between local history and community art.
