Pollak Library participates in Open Access Week, a global event that focuses on open access as it relates to information and research.

ABOUT THE CURATORS & CONTRIBUTORS

Mark Bilby, Anthony Davis, Moon Joo Kim, Lindsay O’Neill, Michelle Swadish, Robert Tomaszewski, Megan Wagner, and Greg Yorba are members of the Pollak Library Open Access Team.

Trish Campbell is the Exhibit Committee Chair and Program Coordinator in the Pollak Library.

ABOUT THE DISPLAY

October 19 – 25, 2016 is  Open Access Week  and the Pollak Library is participating in this global event that focuses on open access as it relates to information and research.

The display will highlight some of the recent articles published in open access journals by California State University, Fullerton faculty. The exhibit includes information to learn more about the benefits of open access, funding opportunities, and ways to integrate open access into research and scholarship. An “Open Access” computer station is available to read the featured articles or to browse the Pollak Library’s  Open Access Guide.

The display will be updated periodically and will remain on exhibit indefinitely.

PROGRAMMING

There is a fun and interactive Open Access Jeopardy game during the dates and times below where participants have the opportunity to win prizes and enter in a drawing for a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate to Starbucks, Target, Aloha Java, or In-N-Out.
