IN MEMORIUM It is with great sadness that the Library marks the passing, on April 8, of one of its most dedicated employees, Karen Ann Swindell. Beginning in 1970 and until she developed a brain tumor last year, Karen served the Library in a number of key roles.
	Most recently, in her position as a Library Assistant IV, Karen was responsible for automated operations in both the Acquisitions and Serials sections of the Technical Services Department. Her exemplary work, constructive approach to problem-solving, and gentle spirit will be missed by us all.
