| This year Pollak Library is
collaborating with the Accounting
Society to offer free income tax help, through the I.R.S. Volunteer Income
Tax Assistance (V.I.T.A.) program. Trained Accounting student volunteers will work
one-on-one with individuals seeking guidance in completing income tax forms. This service
is available on a first-come, first-served basis from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm each Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday from February 28 through April 12 in Pollak Library rooms 190 and
191 (1st floor, south wing, across from the Circulation Desk). Those interested in taking advantage of this service
should bring with them all W-2s and 1099s, 1998 income tax returns, Social
Security benefits statements, and bank account interest statements. Questions can be
directed to C.D. Harber, Coordinator of V.I.T.A for CSUF, (714) 638-3053 or to the e-mail
address ch009815@student.fullerton.edu.
As in years past, a selection of tax
forms and booklets are available at the Librarys Government Documents Desk (3rd
floor, north wing). In addition, tax forms and information are available from the I.R.S. Web site.
