| Each month, the Pollak Library
acquires and catalogs hundreds of items newly purchased or recently received as gifts,
such as books, government publications, and audio CDs. Now you can access the monthly
lists of newly cataloged materials, either from the link at the beginning of the What's New page or from the
Pollak Library's Online Public Access Catalog
(OPAC). To use the lists, select a subject category and the month you wish to view
(starting with September 1999). Most
items in the Library's collections have Library of Congress classification
numbers. These numbers are arranged into broad subject categories. You can select a
category corresponding to the LC classification number, and view items in that category
acquired during a particular month.
For those items in the
Pollak Library catalog which do not have LC numbers, such as government documents, audio
recordings, or Internet resources, we have provided separate categories.
