How do I find children's books?
This page tells how to find children’s books by author or subject in the Pollak Library. Children's books are located in the Juvenile section on the 4th floor, Library North.
 
1.
Limit your search in the Library Catalog to the Curriculum Materials Center Collection only.
  In the Collections drop-down box to the right of the search box, select “Curriculum Materials & Juvenile only.” Do a search.
Examples
Author: seuss dr (last name first)
Title: cat in the hat
Keyword: dr seuss cat
               horses
               california missions

Click "New Search" when you are finished searching this collection only.

A way to find children's picture books by subject is to consult A to Zoo: Subject Access to Children's Picture Books.
  This reference book is available at CMC/Ref PN59.Z5 L47 2001 on the 4th floor of Library North.
After you identify a book title, use the Library Catalog to find out if it is available in the Pollak Library.
