If you receive a bill for overdue materials, which you believe to be erroneous or unjustified, you may dispute the charges.

For items that you have already returned to the Library but still show as checked out on your circulation record, you may submit a search request. Library staff will then search for these items. If they are found in the Library, any fines and/or replacement charges will be cleared.

For overdue fines that you think are unjustified, you may request a waiver from the Circulation Services Coordinator. In some cases, you may also be referred to other library staff members.
