General Information

The Course Reserves collection contains supplementary course materials (course packets, sample exams, sample projects, copies of articles, magazines, books, solution manuals, text books and media materials) provided by faculty in support of course curriculum. These materials are separated from the general collection in the Library and are organized under restricted term use. These materials are presented in different formats usually depending on their contents.

Hours

The Course Reserves Desk is open the same hours as the Library. A current schedule of the library hours is available at Library Hours.

Access to Course Reserve Materials

  • Print Reserves – materials in print are available at the Circulation Desk, 1st floor, Library South and can be borrowed for a limited time period (loan periods are set by the instructor and usually based on class size and availability of the item).
  • Electronic Reserves – print materials that have been digitized and made accessible directly from Blackboard’s “My Content” section.
  • Audiovisual Reserves – media materials available at the AVCMC Desk, 4th floor, Library North and can be borrowed for viewing with one of the many equipment rooms available for checkout.
