Walk-in Reference & Research Services

The main Reference & Research Services Desk is located in the Information and Learning Commons on the 1st floor Library North. Reference Librarians are available during most library hours to help patrons with their questions and research, to recommend appropriate print and electronic resources, and to provide instruction on possible strategies and techniques.

Priority is given to CSUF students, faculty and staff, although members of the public are welcome. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Students, faculty and staff with detailed questions may be asked to make a Research Consultation Appointment.

Further reference assistance is provided at other service areas: Special Collections, Chicano Resource Center, and the Irvine Campus Library.
