Pollak Library Research How Do I... Print Info
How do I find tests?
This page explains how to find psychological and educational tests in Pollak Library. Many tests
are restricted to approved CSUF faculty and students only. See Test File Guidelines for Use for details.

1.
To search for a specific test, search the Library Catalog using a Title search (if you have the exact
title) or Keyword search (if you know some words from the title).
Before running the search, click 'Select a specific collection to search' at the top of the catalog entry
page. Click 'Curriculum Materials Center collection only'.
2.
If you wish to find tests by subject, consult the test catalog kept at the Audiovisual and Curriculum
Materials Center Service Desk.
This print test catalog lets you look up tests by the subjects used in the
Buros Institute Classified Subject Index.
3.
To find reviews for tests, try using Mental Measurements Yearbook.
This is an excellent way to look for tests that are not available in Pollak Library. For more information
on locating tests, both commercial and unpublished, please visit the American Psychological
Association's FAQ at:
http://www.apa.org/science/faq-findtests.html.
