The LRDC contains K-8 textbooks from major educational publishers that have been officially adopted by the California State Department of Education for use in school districts throughout the state.

The K-12 textbook collection is housed separately from the LRDC materials and contains a sample collection of some of the K-12 textbooks used in local school districts.

How to search for textbooks:
To find textbooks in the Library Catalog, on the Library Catalog home page click Select a Collection to Search , then select Curriculum Materials Center Collection only. You can use the Keyword search to combine terms; for example, text and geography, or introduction and algebra. You can do a Subject search by entering any K-12 subject,for example, algebra.

You can also browse the shelves for textbooks in the Curriculum Materials Center. Textbooks are grouped together by call numbers for typical K-12 subjects such as reading, math, or social studies.
