Audiovisual Section
The Audiovisual Section of AVCMC contains the library's AV resources, including CDs, DVDs, VHS videos, laserdiscs, audiocassettes, records (vinyl LPs), 16mm films, and rooms/equipment for viewing and listening. Most audiovisual items are kept on open shelves and may be used in any of 20 viewing/listening rooms. Rooms accommodate a range of users—from individuals to groups of 20—and are equipped with the various types of AV equipment (VCRs, DVD players, etc.). Student IDs are required to check out AV items and keys to the viewing/listening rooms.

Curriculum Materials Center
The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC), comprising half of the AVCMC floor, collects materials that support CSUF's teacher preparation programs. Items include curriculum guides, K-12 textbooks, juvenile books and magazines, educational tests, and instructional media. Students of all majors may check out CMC materials. Items have different check-out periods, ranging from two hours to four weeks. All CMC materials should be returned to the AVCMC Service Desk on 4th floor, Library North, rather than to the Circulation Desk on the 1st floor, Library South.
