As Digital Literacy Librarian (Fall 2019 - present), I provide consultation, instruction, and outreach to students and faculty on using digital tools and strategies to enhance their research, to improve teaching and learning, and to develop a more digitally fluent campus community. I also liaison with technology-focused academic partners and initiatives on campus.
As Marketing Librarian (2016 - Fall 2019), I coordinated and facilitated marketing and communications for the Pollak Library. This included overseeing the library's visual identity, web presence, content strategy, and social media, as well as developing and managing marketing campaigns. I supervised a team of talented student assistants, who do High Impact Practice (HIPs) graphic design and communications & advertising work for the library.
As Web Systems Librarian (2009 - 2016), I served as the lead administrator and designer for our OU Campus-run website, our Wordpress blogging platform, and our LibGuides and LibAnswers systems.
I regularly teach and present on digital literacy skills and tools, emerging technology tools, genealogy, historical records, and content and social media strategies.
I have served and continue to serve on many campus web technologies and communications committees.

I am also a faculty instructor for SJSU and teach an online graduate-level genealogy research methods seminar for the School of Information.
I am a nationally recognized genealogy speaker and educator specializing in methodology, Mexican & Hispanic research, libraries and archives, technology, and society communications. I publish my professional blog at www.colleengreene.com.
I am also a member of many national, state, and local professional assocations and society, and am an active volunteer in the digital public humanities.
