How do I find books by author or title?
This page describes how to search the library catalog or
'Find Books' to find specific books by author or title.
1. Go to the
Library Catalog or 'Find Books'.
- The Library Catalog is listed under QUICK LINKS on the
library home page. 'Find Books' is listed under 'Research'.
2. If you know the book's title, search by Title.
- Example: A room of one's own
If you know the book's author, search by Author.
- Type the last name first.
- Example: woolf, virginia
